01Our commitment

Oniqutes is committed to making oniqutes.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with visual, auditory, motor and cognitive disabilities. We believe good design and accessible design are the same discipline, not competing priorities, and we build with that in mind from the start rather than retrofitting fixes.

02Conformance target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), the widely-adopted standard for web accessibility published by the W3C. This statement reflects our current, ongoing effort — not a claim of full, certified conformance.

03Measures we've taken

  • Semantic structure — proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions and a single, meaningful H1 on every page.
  • Alt text — descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image across the site.
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (navigation, forms, filters, buttons) are reachable and operable without a mouse.
  • Colour contrast — text and interactive elements are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on our dark, gold-accented theme.
  • Reduced motion support — every animation on this site respects the prefers-reduced-motion browser setting and shortens or disables itself accordingly.
  • Responsive design — the site is built to remain usable and legible from small phones to large desktop displays, with no loss of content on any device.
  • Descriptive links and labels — buttons and links are labelled by what they do, with ARIA labels added where an icon-only control needs one.

04Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finished state. Some areas of this site — including the interactive Three.js demo animations and custom cursor — are decorative or supplementary and are not required for understanding or using the site's content. If you encounter any barrier while using this site, we want to know about it and fix it.
